there are a lot of quotes appearing on my blog lately. i'm collecting opinions on the *economic crisis* at the moment, and i find that it was all there, described in fiction and philosophy, a long time ago. there is really nothing new about this situation. only our memory is short. or are we surprised that the inevitable finally has happened?

ich aergere mich ueber deutsche newssites, die diese krise als die schwerste zeit seit 1929 beschreiben. meine omi hat den 2. wk und die jahre nach 1945 miterlebt und wuerde dem wohl widersprechen.
ich erinnere mich an die wendezeit 1989-90 in dor ddr und kann mit grosser bestimmtheit sagen, dass der wind bei uns im osten damals schaerfer wehte als 2009. da wurde nicht verstaatlicht und gerettet, da wurde im kurzen prozess privatisiert und abgewickelt! was heute passiert, ist ja ddr light! marode wirtschaft, monatelange wartezeiten auf autos (fiat 500, vw polo), hohe gebaerpraemien (elterngeld) und eine ostdeutsche kanzlerin. da faellt mir glatt das naechste zitat ein:
